Vision Systems

The diverse range of Vision Systems available today can help manufacturers eliminate this unpredictable influence either intrinsically or by integration into more complex solutions. Typical examples of this might be the portioning of a product, a human or machine without an integrated Vision System might be able to portion the product within a tolerance of +/- 5%, this could result in quite high "give away" & under weight rejects, therefore reducing significantly the profit margins achieved by the manufacturer. By implementing a low cost 3D Vision System the overall portioning tolerance could be lowered to less than 0.5% & experience has shown a pay back in less than 12 months.
